Open position – Join our Meriaura Team
Meriaura Oy is looking for a seafarer holding a Certificate of Competency as Able Seafarer ENGINE c.d. (Konemies YT – STCW III/5 & II/4). This position requires certificates for common duty meaning that the employee has to carry certificates for both the engine and the deck department with focus on the engine department. As an engine room rating you will be assisting the chief engineer onboard, but you should also be prepared to help out on deck.
We have an open position onboard our vessel ms Meri approx. from the beginning of January 2025. After a trial period the position may turn permanent. Rotation according to 1:1, working and leave periods approximately five (5) weeks. Salary and other terms and conditions according to valid CBA.
Meri is an open deck cargo carrier trading mainly in the Baltic and North Sea area. Official working language is English and therefore good language skills are required. Previous experience from similar jobs and positions are essential.
