We have signed an agreement to time-charter two new dry cargo vessels from our long-term partner, Klip Marine. The ships are Groot Eco Freighter type, ice class 1A, with a cargo capacity of 5,200 tons / 7,822 m³.
These ships offer roughly 30% more cargo capacity than our oldest vessels, which they are set to replace. Thanks to their significantly improved fuel efficiency, they will substantially support our emission reduction targets. The first vessel is expected to join our fleet at the beginning of 2026, and the next during the second quarter. The fleet renewal is progressing rapidly, as in addition to these vessels, the two bio-oil capable Eco Trader ships we have ordered will also enter service next year.
