We are looking for a permanent Chief Engineer to join our vessel AAVA VG. The required qualifications are Chief Engineer below 3000 kW (STCW III/3) or Second Engineer (STCW III/2).

Aava VG is a coaster (general bulk) trading mainly in the Baltic and North Sea area. Official working language is English and therefore good language skills are required. Previous experience as chief officer and from similar vessel type is essential.

The position will open up in June 2026, approximately around week 23 or 24. The position is permanent after a traditional trial period. Rotation according to 1:1 system, work and leave periods approximately five (5) weeks. Salary, other terms and conditions according to valid CBA. Official working language is English and therefore good language skills are required.
