Meriaura has joined the Shipbrokers Finland association. Shipbrokers Finland represents companies operating in ship clearing, chartering and liner shipping in Finland, as well as Finnish subsidiaries of international container shipping companies.
Shipbrokers Finland’s member companies serve the Finnish business community by providing the transport needed in the Baltic Sea region and worldwide. The association promotes the member companies and Finnish foreign trade maritime transport, as well as networking and discussion on current issues and topics in the field. The association was founded in 1920 and it will celebrate its 100th anniversary next autumn.
Meriaura has a branch office in Hamina focused on ship clearance. “We have already received very useful advice from the Shipbrokers for dealing with the new types of situations brought up by Corona,” says Maria Byskata, Head of Meriaura’s ship agency department.
