VG-Shipping Oy and the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE) have renewed the agreement for the management of marine research vessel \u2019Aranda\u2019. VG-Shipping won the public tender in autumn 2020 for both price and quality. The renewed contract covers the years 2021\u20132023 with two + two option years, and includes the crewing, operating and technical management of \u2019Aranda\u2019.<\/p>\n

Aranda has been under VG-Shipping\u2019s management since 2007. VG-Shipping has acted as a technical expert in Aranda\u2019s renovation in 2017\u20132018, as well as in the fuel cell experiments conducted in summer 2020.<\/p>\n

VG-Shipping has also conducted trial runs on bio-oil at Aranda, both for heating and as a power source.<\/p>\n
