We are looking for two Chartering Managers

To meet our expanding business, we are now looking for TWO CHARTERING MANAGERS (BULK and PROJECT CARGO) to charter our ships with our contract customers and on the spot market.

Meriaura Ltd is a family-owned shipping company, located in Turku. The company specializes in shipments of industrial products and raw materials in bulk as well as demanding project cargoes. Meriaura has a solid position in the Baltic Sea for bio and circular economy, agribulk and heavy industries. Our key values are customer orientation, safety, operational efficiency and innovation. Our fleet of 15 bulkers operate mostly in the Baltic Sea and North Sea.  Our multipurpose deck cargo carriers handle demanding special project cargoes. Both businesses are growing, and therefore we are now looking for new professionals to charter the ships with our contract customers and on the spot market. 

We would appreciate experience of commercial activities in international markets.  Knowledge of heavy industries, port activities and shipping are a benefit.  On the project side, we would value technical-operational skills related to shipments of special cargoes.  A suitable education for the position could be a master’s degree in business, engineering, or even a master mariner. We require fluent English and Finnish or Swedish, other languages are a bonus. A hectic business environment demands an independent and flexible attitude, as well as stress handling and problem solving capabilities. We are looking for active sales persons with good negotiating skills. We can offer competitive benefits and plenty of work in an innovative and professional team.
